WELCOME TO Konjo me

Konjo means beautiful in Amharic, one of the many languages of Ethiopia. The people of Ethiopia and Eritrea commonly identify themselves as Habesha. Habesha food is nutritious, colorful, and flavorful, which makes for a fun and unique experience.

We are proud to offer healthy, vegan, and also meat lovers options. We offer fresh veggies, no preservatives, halal meat, and a little spice. Made with lots of Love, experience the culture!

Chef Helina is passionate about her culture and sharing it with others. As someone born and raised in Ethiopia, she has a unique perspective on culture, food, and community. She wants to be able to share this part of herself with Detroiters who are both familiar with Ethiopian food and those who are new to it.
